The World War II Victory Medal was a decoration awarded by the US Army and Navy.
Created by law under Congress in mid-July 1945. Commemorates all active military personnel or reservists who served in the armed forces and government of the Philippines during World War II between December 7, 1941 and December 31 of 1946.
