Tank Destruction Badge – Gold
Introduced in 1942, these badges of destruction of the silver tank of World War II, would have been granted to the soldiers who, without help, destroyed a tank with only hand explosives.
The badges feature a metal tank on a gold colored ribbon backing with two black stripes.
